Biography:	Born in Beckenham, Kent, and educated at Mercers' School, London. Served in the Army, and then followed a 40 year career in Marine and Aviation Insurance in the City of London, rising to become Managing Director of the British Aviation Insurance Group. I am a Chartered Insurer, Vice-President Insurance of London and Chairman of the Underwriting Committee to the International Union of Aviation Insurers. I am a member of the Airworthiness Requirements Board - Civil Aviation Authority and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. I am also a Freeman of the City of London. I am married with two children, one living in Chainhurst and the other in Wateringbury. I joined the Parish Council in 2003.
