The snow & icy conditions forecast for this week are likely to cause some disruption to recycling & refuse collections.

At this early stage, our advice to residents is to put out their bin/box out on their normal collection day and we will get to them as soon as we can. Hopefully conditions will not be as bad as currently forecast and crews will be out collecting whenever possible. However, the conditions may result in collections taking place at different times from usual. Emptying of the nabks at our recycling sites may also be affected. Street cleaning staff will be made available to assist KCC Highways with salting/gritting as required, if they are unable to carry out their own scheduled duties.

We will be updating residents via our website: https://www.tmbc.gov.uk/extreme-weather/waste-service-updates and our social media channels on Twitter https://twitter.com/TMBC_Kent and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/tonbridgeandmalling/ Please feel free to share our updates via your own social media channels and websites if you are able.

We will keep you updated throughout the week, but if you would like to receive automatic alerts each time we update the web page, you can sign up to TMBC’s “My Account” service at https://www.tmbc.gov.uk/my-account and subscribe to “Waste”.
