e Your Say on the Future of the East Peckham Public Conveniences in Snoll Hatch Road
TMBC’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee is undertaking a borough wide review of the provision of public conveniences. Currently TMBC owns and manages 15 public conveniences, 1 of which is in East Peckham. The outcome of the review is due to be presented to the Committee in October and to inform this report TMBC are seeking the Parish Councils views on the facilities located in East Peckham especially with regard to the following:
- The value/need for this particular local facility.
- The perceived level of use and whether this is local or wider use.
- The condition of the current facilities.
The Parish Council has noted that one option open to consideration is the potential transfer of the facilities to the Parish Council and TMBC has asked if the Parish Council would be open to discussions in regard to this option. At the current time this will not commit either authority to a future way forward.
This matter is due to be considered by the Parish Councils Planning and Transportation Committee on 03 September, if you have any views that you would like the parish council to take into account when considering this item please contact us by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, telephone 01622 871309 or come along and attend the meeting on 03 September 2018 (7.00 p.m, in the Jubilee Hall Meeting Room)
