Tonbridge and Malling Local Plan Public Consultations

Following the decision of Full Council on 12th September the public consultation exercise on the Local Plan, required by Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Plans)(England) Regulations 2012 will commence on Monday 1st October for a period of 6 weeks closing at 4pm on 12th November.

All details, including copies of the relevant documents and information on how to respond, will be on our website on Monday here . There will also be a press release, alerts on social media and hard copies of the documents will be available to view at borough libraries and the Council’s offices at Kings Hill and Tonbridge Castle.

Two ‘drop in’ sessions where officers will be available to discuss the Local Plan with members of the public have also been arranged for 15th and 17th October (further details on these and all of the consultation arrangements will be available on our website from Monday).

All Parish and Town Councils have been invited to two briefing sessions next week where hard copies and further information will be available for collection. If you cannot attend the briefings please let us know and we will arrange for the copies to be sent to you.
