The Parish Council is becoming increasingly aware of the amount of dog mess on the playing fields which is ruining the enjoyment of this lovely community facility for everyone. Complaints are being received on a daily basis from residents, parents taking their children to school and from East Peckham United Football Club.

The message is clear, please clear up after your dogs. The Parish Council is very frustrated that dog mess is not being picked up by reckless dog walkers. For example at the weekend the football club had 3 guys walk the pitch to remove the mess before they could play and they collected over 20 deposits.

The Parish Council has joined forces with TMBC, we have asked for more patrols to be carried out by the borough councils dog warden and we have arranged for a Bag and Flag Awareness event to take place on 04 April. We also need your help, if you witness any acts of dog fouling where the owner has not picked up their dog’s mess please report it to us, to TMBC or to the Community Warden and please provide us with as much information as you can, i.e. date, time, description of dog and owner, etc
