Poppies on Crosses for Remembrance Day 2020

This year Remembrance Day falls on 08 November. Sadly there will be no parade or Remembrance Service.

There will however be an Act of Remembrance by the War Memorial at Holy Trinity at 11.00 a.m.

he names of our fallen heroes from both WW1 and WW2 will be read out, the Parish Council will lay a wreath on behalf of the East Peckham Community and the Last Post will be played.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions we are encouraging Remembrance at home this year. Anyone wishing to lay a wreath is very welcome to do so in advance on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th or before 11.00 a.m on Sunday 8th November and to follow social distancing and all local and National restrictions in force when laying the wreath.

If you wanted to witness the Act of Remembrance, you are able to do so , we would however ask that you follow social distancing and all local and national restrictions and are in groups of no more than 6 persons
